Meet the Missouri Trails Project Coordinator

Josh Adams

Josh grew up passionate about the outdoors; hiking, biking, camping, rock climbing, spelunking, white water rafting, repelling, kayaking, canoeing, and a bit of sky diving.

After achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, he attended Truman State University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography and then attended Columbia College earning a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.

Upon learning a bit of programming and data analysis, Josh quickly evolved his career into GIS mapping, networking with professionals nationwide, and has spent the last year creating and maintaining the Missouri Trails Project database, collaborating with many agencies statewide.

Along with earning many new GIS certifications, Josh will begin a statewide campaign very soon to collect more trail data for the project.
